Plan
Start with the job and listener area
- Record the site, room, work order, operator, witness, and installed-system context.
- Lay out named positions with plan coordinates, microphone height, notes, and required repeat counts.
- Set project-authored coverage, spread, consistency, repeatability, and optional referenced-level targets.
Capture
Collect witnessed evidence, not a mystery number
- Assign each run to a planned position and document the external stimulus or ambient condition.
- Record broadband RMS, one-third-octave values, route, sample rate, captured duration, clipping, and stability.
- Hold short, clipped, unstable, interrupted, incomplete, or route-changing captures out of verification.
Verify
A readable acceptance matrix
Each enabled criterion reports Pass, Fail, or Needs Evidence. Planned positions count only after their required accepted runs are present. Voided, altered, failed-quality, and orphaned runs do not affect results.
Package
Traceable handoff records
Every retained run includes a SHA-256 evidence seal and its microphone, interface, channel, and calibration snapshot. Export the job as structured JSON, a spreadsheet-safe CSV ledger, or a readable text report through the iOS share sheet.
